IN OUR THERAPY SESSIONS TOGETHER, WE WILL…
Explore how anxiety affects you
In the beginning, we take time to understand what’s been weighing on you. This isn’t about being interrogated or diagnosed right away — it’s a conversation. We explore the situations that trigger your anxiety, the patterns that keep showing up in your relationships, and the moments where things start to feel overwhelming or disconnected. My office is a relaxed, welcoming space where you can talk openly without feeling judged or rushed.
Process what to do next
Once we understand what’s happening beneath the surface, we begin to slow things down and work through it together. We look at the emotions, reactions, and experiences that shape how you respond in stressful moments or in conflict with the people you care about. Processing helps you make sense of why certain situations affect you so strongly and helps you feel less stuck in those patterns.
Learn how to make it happen
Therapy is not just about talking — it’s also about learning practical tools that help you outside the session. You’ll learn ways to calm your nervous system when anxiety takes over, communicate your thoughts and needs more clearly, and respond differently in difficult moments. Over time, these skills help you feel more confident, grounded, and connected in your relationships.

Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety Therapy for College Students
Anxiety doesn’t always look dramatic — sometimes it looks like overthinking every conversation, feeling a tightness in your chest before speaking up, or constantly preparing for something to go wrong. You may appear calm and capable on the outside while internally feeling restless, tense, or mentally exhausted. In our work together, we identify the patterns that keep anxiety in control — the thoughts that spiral, the body sensations that trigger fear, and the avoidance that unintentionally reinforces it.
College can feel like it’s supposed to be one of the best times of your life — but for many students, it’s also overwhelming.
You might find yourself overthinking everything…
Worrying about classes, relationships, or the future…
Struggling to turn your mind off at night…
Or feeling pressure to keep it all together, even when you’re exhausted.
I specialize in helping college students work through anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges in a way that feels practical, supportive, and real. Together, we’ll start to understand what’s driving your anxiety and build tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.

Pet therapy
Sometimes the most powerful part of healing is simply feeling safe enough to exhale. That’s where Nico comes in.
Nico is my gentle golden retriever who occasionally joins sessions to offer quiet comfort and a calming presence. Many clients find that having a friendly dog nearby helps ease anxiety, soften difficult conversations, and make the therapy space feel a little more relaxed and human.
Nico has a natural ability to sense when someone needs a little extra warmth — whether that’s sitting nearby, offering a wagging tail, or simply sharing the room in a peaceful way.
Couples Counseling
I specialize in couples counseling for partners with communication breakdowns, trust issues, parenting conflicts, or intimacy challenges. Whether you’re dealing with infidelity, financial stress, or the quiet distance that builds over time, I help you identify the patterns keeping you stuck and practice concrete tools to reconnect. Together, we create a safe space to rebuild trust, improve communication, and approach challenges as a team.

How the Therapy process starts
01
15 Minute Consultation Call
A free 15-minute consultation is a simple, low-pressure way for us to connect and see if working together feels like the right fit. During this call, you can share a little about what’s been going on—whether that’s anxiety, overthinking, or challenges in your relationships—and I’ll ask a few thoughtful questions to better understand what you’re needing. I’ll also walk you through how I approach therapy and what working together might look like. There’s no expectation or commitment—it’s just a space for you to get a feel for me, ask any questions you have, and decide if you feel comfortable taking the next step.
02
Intake
Your intake session is a space for us to slow down and really understand what’s been going on for you. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you to therapy right now, as well as your history with anxiety, relationships, and any patterns you’ve noticed over time. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to get a fuller picture of your experiences, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
This session is also about helping you feel seen and understood. Together, we’ll begin making sense of what you’re going through, identify what’s been most challenging, and start clarifying what you want to feel different in your life and relationships. By the end, we’ll collaborate on a plan for moving forward so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and what working together will look like.
03
Session
A typical 45–60 minute session is a space for you to slow down, talk through what’s been coming up, and start making sense of it in a deeper way. We might begin by checking in on your week—what felt hard, what stood out, and where anxiety or relationship patterns showed up. From there, we’ll gently explore those moments together, helping you understand the “why” behind your thoughts, emotions, and reactions, while also working on practical ways to respond differently in real time.
Throughout our work, I’ll offer guidance, honest reflections, and tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and secure—both within yourself and in your relationships. Some sessions may focus more on building coping skills, while others go deeper into patterns, past experiences, or communication dynamics. It’s a collaborative process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels supportive but also helps you grow.
And you won’t be doing it alone—my golden retriever, Nico, will be present during sessions as a therapy dog. He often brings a calming, comforting presence to the room, especially during moments that feel heavy or vulnerable, helping create a space where you can feel more at ease as you open up and do this work.
Therapy with me is…
A calm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel understood, and talk openly without judgment
Practical tools to help you manage anxiety, quiet overthinking, and feel more grounded day-to-day
Honest, collaborative conversations that help you better understand your patterns, relationships, and emotions
Gentle accountability and guidance so you can make meaningful changes and start feeling more like yourself again
Therapy with me is not…
Not just venting without direction. We’ll talk things through, but we’ll also work toward meaningful change.
Not advice-giving or telling you what to do. I help you find what feels right for you, rather than giving quick answers.
Not rushed or surface-level. We take the time to understand what’s really going on beneath the anxiety or stress.
Not pressure to be “perfect” or have it all together. You can show up however you are, even on the hard days.
